Specifying Soft Limit for Alerts

If desired, you can set a limit lower than the hard limit, at which point an alert can be issued warning the customer of the danger of running out of licenses. This limit is known as the soft limit. These alerts will be reported via a script or an e-mail to the system administrator. Refer to the Sentinel RMS SDK System Administrator Help for details on setting alerts.

NOTE   From RMS v9.5 onwards, soft limit up to 4,294,967,294 is supported. This is applicable for license version 20 and above. Further, this high value is applicable only when the soft limit is used as a quantity.
